Our apartments are located in the east of Cyprus, in Protaras and Pernera. Fantastic crystal clear beaches await and entice visitors. All our apartments are within 1 minute walk from the nearest beach.

Both Protaras and Pernera are about 40 minutes by car from the airport. The always bustling Ayia Napa is very close by, 5 minutes by car. Protaras is a quieter, pleasant place, perfect for families. Pernera is even quieter than Protaras and is a paradise for those who want to relax and unwind

PERNERA

Pernera is a tiny village in a tourist area. There are few hotels, but rather villa parks have been built in the village. Thanks to this there is not much traffic, it is a very quiet and peaceful area. There is a beautiful promenade along the coast from Protaras to the end of Pernera, to the new harbour that is being built. Here you will find the church of Saint Nicolas. It is worth starting your mornings with a walk along the beach, an exhilarating experience.

The beaches of Pernera are fantastic. Each small bay is a separate beach, with dazzlingly clear waters. Each cove is different. There are some nice sandy beaches and one that is very special: the beach of Polyxenia has a huge green lawn that attracts sunbathers and bathers. The children's pool is free for all. (The beaches are free to use, but you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas.)

The main street of Pernera is Pernera street. If you walk down from the top, you will find the Knights Pub by the colourful fountain. If you want a really hearty and tasty dinner, definitely try it. (If you like steak, order Steak Diane!) In any case, make a reservation, as the restaurant is full almost every night (+357 23831497). As you walk downhill, there are several restaurants. As you walk downhill, there are several restaurants. Here is an art aspect I would like to point out. On the left you will see a small gallery with no signage. Why is it interesting? Because you can see abstract paintings by international artists on holiday or living in Cyprus, and even buy them online. They send the paintings by DHL to your address, no need to bother with it on the plane. https://modern-paintings.com. Moving on, Andreas' boutique offers summer clothes, swimwear and accessories. Across the street is Kosta's and Victoria's Dönner Kebab, here you can try the Gyros which is the best in the area. (Don't miss it, you 'll love it!) Down the hairpin bend is the Blue Spice restaurant, open every day in winter and summer. (good Pizza!) From here, a few steps away, you'll find George's Motorbike Rental, where you can rent a quad, buggy, scooter or even a bicycle. (+357 99658462) If you are heading towards the beach at the Blue Spice restaurant, turn left. On the grassy beach mentioned above is the Polyxenia Restaurant. (I recommend the Fish Meze or the Meat Meze, but only if you're really hungry, because they'll serve you a lot of dishes.) By the way, it's also a great wedding venue if you're planning a Cypriot wedding with a beach background. Aniko can help you with this, she is a wedding planner (+44 7743783567). Her website is https://happycouplescyprus.com . Of course, there are many other activities in Pernera, such as excursions, boat trips, fishing, water sports, etc.

PROTARAS

Protaras is a small town in a tourist area with large hotels, luxury villas and apartments. It has a beautiful seafront promenade with a long and sandy beach. In the morning there are many people walking or running on the beach, worth trying. The morning swim is also very enjoyable when the surface of the water is like a mirror. The sun glistens and you are almost alone in the beautiful blue sea. An unforgettable experience. The most famous of the beaches is Fig Tree Bay. Beautiful fig trees and palm trees on the beach make it a special sight. You can easily swim to a tiny island. Turtles are often seen in the water. Don't feed them and don't catch or harm them. This is their natural habitat. (The beaches are free to use, but you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas.) There are restaurants and bars all along the promenade. If you go one street up, you will find the main street of Protaras. Colourful shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants attract tourists. You can buy everything here: swimwear, hats, men's and women's clothes, beach equipment, toys, jewellery, souvenirs. On summer evenings, many people stroll along the main street. The shops, restaurants and bars on both sides of the street try to entertain their customers with colourful lights and loud music. Summer evenings are very cosy on the main street of Protaras. A little further up, there is a small hill. At the top of the hill is the Greek Orthodox stone church of Profitis Ilias. It is worth climbing the stone steps and admiring the view. The whole area is visible from the top. There are many activities for tourists: diving, boat trips, safari, fishing, surfing, water sports, mini golf and Luna Park for the little ones. It's worth renting a car or motorbike, or even a buggy, to explore all the wonderful parts of the area. Strange, but you can get used to it. So drive carefully!) Very close by is the Cape Greco Nature Reserve, where fantastic natural wonders await visitors.
